Returns Policy


What is your Returns Policy?

We at Rooted Hill want nothing more but than for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase! Because of that, in the event of any product damage or any return requests, we want to assist you RIGHT AWAY in order to MAKE IT RIGHT!

Our policy lasts 14 days from when you receive your product. If 14 days have gone by since your product arrival, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To request a return, please contact us with your receipt or proof of purchase, as well as a photo of the product and a brief description as to the reasoning of your requested return. Note that it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for re-shipment.

Please do not automatically return the item. Be sure to contact us for further return instructions. Once approved, all returned items can be mailed to the following:

Can I exchange my purchase for another style, size or color?

Unfortunately, we are unable to process exchanges at this time. You can return your order for a refund and place a new order for the style you’d like instead. :)

What can not be refunded and returned?

The following items are exempt from refunds and returns:

  • Items that are outside of our 14 day return period (return period starts on day of delivery. Returns must be requested within 14 days)
  • Clearance items
  • Items that appear worn or used (This includes odor, missing pieces, damaged)
  • Items that are missing tags or have reattached tags in any way
  • Items that appear to be tampered with in any way
  • All Jewelry is final sale
  • Personalized or custom items
  • Items missing receipts/packing slips
  • Items that were not approved to be returned with prior communication/authorization
  • Items that are not packaged properly and safely.
  • Items that are returned damaged
  • Items that were mailed to the wrong address because of customer's error

When will I get my refund?

Refunds are processed within 2-3 days of the return package being received. Once your return is inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be issued to your original form of payment for the value of the returned merchandise and any sales tax incurred. 

Please allow 5-10 business days for your refund to reflect on your account statement. Refunds will not be made for shipping costs.
